- And Order became Chaos, and Chaos became Order, and the universe erupted out of nothingness and thus began the struggle.
- For it is mandated that one cannot survive without the other, and within those confines the powers must find equilibrium.
- Equilibrium was not such that there was no fluctuation, it was that fluctuation was met appropriately with due nature and force. The diminutive became mighty and the expanse became weak and the tide turns according to forces that even Chaos and Order have naught understanding.
- Thus the eons passed and Chaos and Order wanted to build and progress the universe, each in their own way, not abiding the other. And the undulant of force that swayed back and forth became destructive and there was no progress.
- And as the eons slipped by, Chaos and Order… Order and Chaos understood their roles. They laid down edicts of compromise, laws of advancement, and embed those edicts in massive engraved scripting to set forth their commitment to these compromises.
- And thrice did they try for better and more structured edicts and rules that bound each to the other and held sacred the concepts of co-existence. But these were never their tale, and in the end each edict failed.
- Each failed not because they did not have the will or the heart… they failed because of their nature, and it was their nature that worked against them, those two of purity and grace, each embodying good and evil within them but without letting it define them.
- And they realized, the purity of force which each represented would never abide the other, not out of malice or spite, but out or nature. Upon this realization, the set the final edict… the final act to put the progress of the universe in motion and to allow creations to unfold that were unimaginable.
- To this end, each gave up a full one third of their power, to create an equal… to create a force to hold the line, to contain the undulating of the forces that ultimately and inadvertently destroy.
- And thus the concept of Balance came, the equal of Chaos and Order, and beholden to neither. Balance understood it’s position, not only as a warrior, a helper, and keeper of the line, but of communicator and facilitator.
- Balance did not emerge from the universe. Balance was made. Constructed. Willed into existence by the only two beings powerful enough to create an equal — by becoming unequal to what they had been.
- Each gave a third. Not a gift. Not a sacrifice in the tragic sense. A deliberate diminishment of self in order to create something that could do what neither could and extraordinarily chose to become less than complete so that completion becomes possible for everything else.
- And with Balance came softening. Chaos and Order continued as was their nature, but Balance softened that edge, and on the edge, progress. And in progress the cosmos grew.
Concepts of Mathematics
numeric system is base 8 because it pertains to the voids between fingers… because the spaces are are the connection… just like Balance is the connection between Chaos and Order… and it is the spaces that allow us to define the objects which are our fingers…. the spaces and connections offer the balance
If you reach into a quiver and need to know without equivocation the number of arrows you draw out… you place each between a finger… and draw out 8 every time.
about our mythos
our mythos is that Chaos and Order came about almost simultaneously and that there was no progress… because when Chaos grew, Order shrank, the larger Chaos grew, the more condensed Order became, the growth weakens exponentially and condensation strengthens inversely proportional to the growth of the other… so if Chaos grew to consume the universe the more it consumed the harder it was because order was inversely more powerful to its own expanse.
The cycles of destruction of each side… where the momentum to destroy one or the other would carry them well past the equallity of forces and well into total occupation of the other… but you can liken it to corn starch… the faster and quicker you push the more resistence
With Continuity
and it is the mad swings that destroy natural progress that forces reversion. balance came from the recognition that Chaos and Order had a nature… and like the scorpion and the frog… it is always in their nature to dominate the other. Creating a third force… one to prevent the undulation of forces that keep the universe stagnant… Chaos is not destruction for destruction’s sake… it is the independence of forces… order is not just structure for structures sake… it is the codependence of forces.
And balance understands that each has its place and that should one fall… they all fall.
